can you make alfredo sauce in a slow cooker slow?

Can I put store-bought Alfredo sauce inside the pot and make things this way? If so, what other components should I add to give it taste better? I never like the store bought kind taste sauce (never tastes as good as the restaurant is Alfredo). Please help. I want to do for dinner tonight. thank you!

Since Alfredo and other white sauces are made from milk, I would not try it. Milk held at a solidification of the low heat setting or burns.
